The fourth fight of UFC Vegas 47 saw the second-fastest finish for a debutant at the UFC as Chidi ‘Bang Bang’ Njokuani knocked out his opponent in 16 seconds.
The middleweight bout had Njokuani face his Canadian opponent Marc-André Barriault for the fifth fight of the prelims at UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs. Strickland.

Njokuani went into the match after landing a UFC contract in week 2 of the latest season of Dana White’s contender series. Njokuani, a veteran of Mixed Martial Arts, had been on a blast on the regional circuits.

‘Bang Bang’ finished his opponent in just 16 seconds, which is one of the fastest finishes in the history of the UFC. Second only to Makwan Amirkhani’s 8 second KO of Andy Ogle at UFC on FOX: Gustafsson vs Johnson back in 2015 at middleweight.

The fight card has seen multiple finishes leading up to the conclusion of the 5th fight. The fight card saw Malcolm Gordon take a submission victory over Denys Bondar. Accompanying the opening winner was Philip Rowe, who stopped Jason Witt in the second round.
Jailton Almeida also emerged as a winner in the first round of his Brazilian clash with Danilo Marques. Alexis Davis took the decision win over Julija Stoliarenko.
Now, it is to be seen who wins the main event banger between Sean Strickland and Jack Hermansson.
