What Football Team Does Stone Cold Steve Austin Support?

Every athlete has their favourite teams or players from other fields. For example, Stone Cold Steve Austin is a renowned pro-wrestler, but he definitely has a favourite premier league football team.

Now, there could be more than one team The Texas Rattlesnake likes to follow.

Stone Cold’ Steve Austin Supports West Ham United

Former player Kieron Dyer had invited Stone Cold to watch West Ham United’ game against Fulham. This was the first time he watched the game live, and ended up loving what he saw!

Therefore, he vowed to come back to see more games and be more engaged with the team and the game.

However, this was back in 2009. Years have passed since then, and it seems like The Texas Rattlesnake has moved on to another team.

It’s possible that Stone Cold is currently a fan of Bolton Wanderers.

He appeared on Soccer AM and claimed that whichever team’s name he picked from the hat, he would support that team. He picked Bolton Wanderers name, and showed his support for the team.

Stone Cold’s favourite NFL Team

Considering he is from the United States, The Texas Rattlesnake of course has a favourite NFL Team.

But, considering he is from Texas, it’s no surprise that Stone Cold supports the Dallas Cowboys.

Prior to becoming a pro-wrestler, he wanted to become a pro-football player. He even played football at the University of North Texas in the 1980s. However, while he was a good player at the local and regional level, he couldn’t keep up with the players beyond that.

As a result, he didn’t chase his football dreams further and moved on to pro-wrestling!

Today, he’s one of the top names in the business even when he is not an active pro-wrestler anymore. In fact, he is credited with leading the most successful WWE era, The Attitude Era.
