Brit Awards 2022: Anne-Marie praised for quick recovery after suffering a fall during performance

Anne-Marie suffered a tumble in the style of Madonna during her Brit Awards 2022 performance, but recovered like a queen.
The Voice judge performed Don’t Play, her single with KSI and Digital Farm Animals, but got off to a rocky start when she took a slight tumble.
The pop singer made an entrance from inside a giant heart on stage at the awards show however she appeared to fall as she made her way down.
Somehow, Anne-Marie found her footing and was able to recover almost immediately leaving viewers impressed.
Praising the singer, one viewer tweeted: ‘Phenomenal recovery by Anne-Marie.’
‘Fair play to Anne Marie for getting back up after falling. Takes a big person to get up and carry on. Should be proud of yourself, the performance as epic,’ another said.

Another chimed in: ‘Gotta give it to Anne Marie for carrying on so effortlessly. Every time I’ve stacked it in the exact same manner I’ve simply wanted to pass away.’
One other viewer said: ‘Bless Anne Marie she’ll be so annoyed she fell she styled it out!’
Proving to be even more of a trooper, Anne-Marie had the best response to the blunder and joked in a tweet: ‘Didn’t need my left ankle anyway.’
Many others compared it to the iconic moment Madonna fell down the stairs during her Brits performance in 2015 but bounced right back up like a true professional.

Anne-Marie arrived at the Brits red carpet looking chic and cool in a black leather jacket, cut-out bralet and flared trousers. She bumped into pal Ed Sheeran on the red carpet and they posed for photos together pulling funny faces.
The singer missed out on winning song of the year at the beginning of the show with Adele nabbing the gong with her comeback single Easy On Me.
The Brit Awards 2022 airs live on ITV from 8pm.
