Jamahal Hill and Johnny Walker headlined the UFC Vegas 48 fight card as the original main event between Rafael dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev was postponed to UFC 272. An enormous opportunity for both of the light heavyweights, but it was Hill who cashed in.
‘Sweet Dreams’ literally put his Dublin-based opponent, Walker, to sleep with a powerful right hand in the first round of their bout. The light-heavyweight clash between the #10 and #12 brought UFC fans, the first main event knockout of the year. And fight fans were more than happy for the display.

Hill has surely cemented his name as one of the best in the light heavyweight division of the UFC. And there’s only one thing that is left to question. What next?
What’s next for Jamahal Hill?
With his signature Knockout display, that too, twice in a row, ‘Sweet Dreams’ has put his name together with other knockout artists of the UFC. The current #12 will definitely break into the top 10 club of the 205-pounders after this win.
A fight with any of the bottom 10 might make sense for Hill. However, one cannot rule out the possibility of a top 5 contender stepping up to meet ‘Sweet Dreams’ in a clash.
