“I have many regrets, watching myself on TV is like a horror show” admits Married At First Sight Australia’s Tamara
SHE made quite the impression in last night’s opening episode of Married At First Sight Australia.
Controversial reality star Tamara Djordevic was dubbed a ‘bride from hell’ by viewers and a ‘psychopath’ by husband Brent Vitiello during their wedding reception.

But now Tamara has told The Sun that she is horrified by how she has come across on the E4 show, with fans appalled by her snobby attitude towards shop workers and the way she kept putting her groom down.
In an exclusive interview, the 29 year old Operations Manager from Queensland said: “I am definitely not someone who uses the term “no regrets’ I have many regrets and my word vomit gets me in trouble a lot.”
She went on to explain how she is found it traumatic watching the series back since it began airing after filming wrapped last last year.
Tamara confessed: “It has been very confronting to watch myself on TV. I find it’s like watching a horror movie where you watch between your fingers because you’re scared of how the next scene will play out.”
But despite coming in from some serious backlash from viewers, the blonde insists she has evolved from the person we are all seeing on our screens.
“We live and learn,” she said. “I’m always open to growing and improving myself.”
And while she can’t give away how her journey with Brent winds up, she cryptically revealed she is pleased with how things ended up for her.
“I am very happy,” she teased. “I always look at life on the bright side and remind myself of how much I have to be grateful for.

“Regardless of what happens on Married At First Sight, I know I have my own back and am very confident I know who I am and can say I am 100% authentic.”
Tamara also claimed that her antics on camera had nothing to do with trying to get more screen time or seeking fame. In fact, she insists her motivations for doing the show where genuine.
“My reasoning for wanting to go on Married At First Sight comes down to my twisted interest in psychology,” she explained.
“I loved the idea of giving myself over to a team of experts to choose a match for me based on what they thought I needed or would suit, because typically I am terrible at choosing men!”
Last night, Tamara defended herself to The Sun after the episode went out.
She insisted: “I am not a villain. I am a self-confident person with a lot of opinions and sometimes I am just far too honest for my own good.
People don’t always agree with me or have to like me but that doesn’t make me a villain.
“I just think it shows I am genuine and don’t filter myself to be someone I’m not.”
Her comments came after viewers blasted her for claiming those who worked in retail were ‘below’ her and dismissing Brent as ‘average’.
After Tamara criticised his table manners, Brent vented to producers on camera, saying: “My wife is a psychopath.”
Fans immediatly agreeed with the groom, with one tweeting: “You said it Brent #MyWifesAPsychopath #MAFSA.”
While another said: “This is spot on ”
This one tweeted: “Already feeling sorry for Brent #MAFSA,”
This viewer got straight to the point: “Run, Brent, Run!”
Earlier in the show, MAFS fans had already branded Tamara the villian of series 9.
It all started when the brides all met for the first time at their bachelorette party.
As all the other women listened too each other’s stories, Tamara quickly become a force to be reckoned with, especially with shy bride Olivia.
She began challenging her and fans immediately picked up on this saying she was the new Innes or Suzie (from season 6) or Rebecca (from season 8).
One tweeted: “Tamara is 100# Rebecca from last season”
While this one added: “Tamara is the new Beck!”
Another commented: “Could Tamara be anymore like Innes!”
