A family who live in a one-bedroom flat came up with a very savvy solution to the dilemma of not having a spare room for their newborn daughter.

TikTok user Allie, who posts under @allliexo, shared how her husband added an easy stud wall in their living room, to make a little nursery.

She wrote: “When you live in a one bedroom so your husband improvises and makes a room for baby girl.”

She added that her daughter will sleep in their bedroom, and explained: “This is mainly to store all of her things, it will be taken down when we leave.”

The best part is the project saved them hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds in moving costs if they’d had to find a new house to accommodate their new arrival.

Her video has racked up over 22,000 likes, and many people praised their efforts.

One said: “wow that’s epic! what a great job he did.”

Another added: “Awe this is so cute. Handy husbands are the best.”

And a third commented: “Aww thats awesome! Congrats!”
