Christine McGuinness refuses to return to Real Housewives of Cheshire throwing show into MORE chaos after mass exodus

CHRISTINE McGuinness has turned down the opportunity to return to Real Housewives of Chesire – as the show struggles to keep its biggest stars.

The 33-year-old quit the ITVbe reality show two years ago but has been asked to come back numerous times by desperate bosses.

A source said: “Christine was one of the show’s biggest stars so it’s no surprise they want her back.

“Unfortunately she’s just so busy with other projects at the moment that she can never film when they ask her to, so that door is very much closed for the moment.”

It comes after The Sun told how Real Housewives has been scrambling to find new stars following a mass walk out ahead of the 15th series.

In the last two years big names including Dawn Ward and Tanya Bardsley have quit.

Lauren Brown and Esther Dee also walked away from the programme and, most recently, Debbie Davies left to pursue a TV career in America.

Christine previously revealed that her husband Paddy was never keen on her doing the show in the first place.

She wrote in her autobiography A Beautiful Nightmare: “Patrick didn’t want me to have a public profile at all. He especially didn’t want me to join The Real Housewives.

“He thought it was all about the glitz and glamour, and showing off your wealth, which is so far removed from my normal life. And I agree it wasn’t quite the right fit.

“I don’t live a glamorous life and I’m not shopping for Chanel bags and going to swanky parties every day, which is the reputation of Housewives.”

Since leaving the show Christine – who was recently diagnosed with autism – has seen her career go from strength to strength.

She recently revealed the secret to her stunning appearance – having a 45 minute tweakment to keep her skin looking fabulous.

The star shared a video after having a 3D dermaforce treatment earlier this week – emerging looking more radiant than ever.
