This Is Us costume designer suing Paramount after suffering injuries from ‘falling in hole’ on set

The costumer for NBC hit-show This Is Us is suing Paramount Studios after she ‘fell in a hole’ on the Paramount Studios set in Los Angeles.
Jill Stager has filed a lawsuit against Paramount Pictures Corporation saying she was injured after an accident on set.
According to court documents, the employee said she sustained ‘serious and injured damages’ in March last year.
Accusing the studio and other unnamed defendants of keeping ‘their premises in an unsafe condition,’ Stager has claimed there was ‘maintenance of report work to be done below Stage 3’ which was where the show was being filmed.
This maintenance work involved ‘a hole in the stage surface or flooring’, and while Stager was walking on the set ‘she fell in the hole, causing her to sustain serious injuries and damages.’
Now Stager is suing Paramount Pictures for negligence in maintaining the safety of their premises.

As of yet, it is unknown how much she is suing for, but according to reports Stager has claimed to suffer wage loss, hospital and medical expenses, general damage, loss of earning capacity, and other damages, including ‘pain and suffering.’
This Is Us has become one of the most popular romantic dramas of recent years, with the NBC program winning over audiences all around the world.
The series stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, and Justin Hartley in the main roles.

Popular since it landed on screens in 2016, the show is now airing its fifth season, with plans for the show to come to an end with season 6.
According to The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, season six’s final episode will air in 2022.
