A YOUNG woman working hard to get through her relationship concerns in therapy realized just how small the world is in an unpleasant way.

She claimed she said the name of her ex to her therapist, and things automatically became super awkward.

The patient, who goes by @lilylogsdon online, revealed that when she let the full name of her boyfriend slip to her therapist, she found out they were related.

That’s right – the man she had been venting about was the nephew of the therapist.

Lily did not update viewers about whether or not her boyfriend’s aunt continued being her therapist, but people could not believe the awkward coincidence she had experienced.

“I would simply walk out,” one viewer claimed.

“This gives me such fear [because] my therapist lives around the same area as me,” another admitted.

Others used the cringe-worthy coincidence as a segue into speaking about their own similar situations.

“In middle school found out my therapist was the godmother of the kid who was actively bullying me,” one viewer recalled.

“My best friend and I have the same therapist and it was so funny when it clicked for all of us,” a fourth user noted.
