Celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian and Tia Mowry sent in their love to Vanessa over her recent Instagram post. She shared an adorable photo of her and Kobe Bryant at the Academy Awards. The photo saw Kobe Bryant smiling while Vanessa took a photo of the moment. But how did Kobe land up at the Academy Awards?
After his retirement, Kobe grew his love for filmmaking. Notably, he created a short animated film called ‘Dear Basketball’. The short film got a lot of recognition as Bryant wrote down his love for the game after hanging the boots. Like many other times in his career, Kobe hit right on the money with his masterpiece. Moreover, he also received an Oscar for his short film for the best animated short.
His farewell from the game came in the grandest way possible. Playing his final game at the Staples, the LA crowd was wild. And when the lights were on, Kobe was at his best once again. The Mamba surpassed Shaq’s expectation of 50 points. He scored 60 points and handed the Lakers an emphatic win with his clutch performance.
It turned out to be the perfect send-off for the Mamba. As he took his foot off-court, Kobe Bryant began his chapter as a father. Unfortunately, the world lost him too soon, and no time is enough to cope with the loss.
