Rising Dagestani prospect, Umar Nurmagomedov continued his undefeated streak alike his cousin Khabib Nurmagomedov with an incredible finish.

After pulling out of a couple of fights last year, Umar Nurmagomedov finally made it on the fight card of UFC 272: Covington vs. Masvidal on 5th March. The featherweight last won against Sergey Morozov at UFC Fight Night: Chiesa vs. Magny on January 20th in a bantamweight setting.

Continuing in the same way, Umar Nurmagomedov finished ‘Boom’ via an early rear-naked choke in the first round of their bout. Demonstrating his superior grappling skills, Umar took hold of Kelleher and pushed him into the canvas to secure the choke, and finally got his submission in the 4th minute of the 1st round of their 3 round fight.

Umar Nurmagomedov, in his post-fight speech with Joe Rogan, also called upon anyone who is willing to step up with him on short notice.

This brings his MMA record to a total of 14-0  and 2-0 in the UFC for the 25-year-old Mixed Martial Artist.
