Sharing her helpful hacks online, she says if you don’t like cleaning these are the best things you can do to make sure the job gets done.

Her first trick was to wear fuzzy socks around the house, not just to keep your feet warm, but to help pick up dust as you move.

That’s right, no more running around with the hoover, Caroline says this trick will save you so much time.

There’s nothing worse than cleaning the toilet.

That’s why this pro suggests sprinkling baking soda down there at night, then giving it a quick scrub the next morning.

The baking soda will have done all the hard work while you were sleeping, meaning you can just flush it away.

Rather than keeping all your cleaning products in one place, this clean lover suggests storing basic cleaning supplies in the rooms they’re most often used in.

For example, keep all bathroom cleaners under your bathroom sink, so you can spot clean on the go.

Another huge time saving tip is to ‘pre-treat’ surfaces with cleaning products, letting it sit for a few minutes.

Caroline shares that this will save time and energy because you’ll use a lot less elbow grease.

Her final hack is to simply become a minimalist and throw out any old junk around your home.

Piles of unneeded things on coffee tables and shelves just means you have more to clean!

You will have less to organise and achieve a much cleaner look if you stick to the basics the cleaning expert advises.

Viewers of her helpful hacks agreed, “the decluttering this is probably the biggest issue people have. The more things you have the more things you have to make a mess.”

Others were inspired by the useful tips saying that “I’m going to try the baking soda in the toilet. I don’t think I’ve ever done that!”

“I have a cleaning caddy in every bathroom and kitchen- not about dragging things around” One keen cleaner joked.
