Fans Left With Dropped Jaws as 62-Year-Old WWE Legend Jumps Off the Balcony at AEW Revolution 2022

Wrestling veteran, Sting just pulled out a page from ECW tonight! The 62-year-old legend has been an integral part of Tony Khan’s AEW and occasionally put out matches. However, the Stinger surprised the fans tonight at the AEW Revolution PPV.

The former WCW World Champion took an insane dive off of from a balcony at a great height, through the tables. Sting, Sammy Guevara, and Darby Allin went toe to toe with the team of Matt Hardy, Andrade El Idolo, & Isiah Kassidy.

However, it was the Stinger who stole the show tonight at the Addition Finance Arena, Orlando, Florida. Towards the end of the match, Sting got himself at the balcony where the rest of the fans were watching the match. Eventually, the veteran jumped off of the balcony and delivered a splash to Andrade El Idolo through three tables.

Yes, you read it right! Interestingly, Sting will be 63-year-old in a couple of weeks. The bump was insanely perfect, considering the age of the Stinger. The entire arena burst into the chants of “you still got it!!”.

Eventually, Darby Allin capitalized and dragged Matt Hardy back in the ring. Inside the ring, Hardy tried to deliver a ‘Twist of Fate’, but Allin countered it in ‘Scorpion Deathlock’ which is Sting’s finisher.

In the end, the team of Sting, Allin, and Guevara secured the victory when Allin pinned the former WWE superstar after a coffin drop.

The fans are in awe of Sting

The reason the fans are reacting is so surprised because of the age of Sting. At 62-years-old, the WCW veteran is still taking bumps and holding back. The fact that he decided to jump off of a balcony at such an age speaks volumes about how much Stinger loves the business.

Ryan Sating noted that the WWE Hall of Famer is like ECW legend, New Jack. The late wrestler, New Jack was famous for his over-the-top bumps and he used to jump through tables from balconies, just like Sting did.
