Shane Warne’s children visit his statue with mother Simone Callahan as daughter pays touching tribute: ‘Always here with us’

The children of the late, great Shane Warne have visited his statue to pay tribute to their father.
Cricket legend Shane died suddenly in February, after suffering a suspected heart attack.
The 52-year-old left behind his three children, daughters Brooke, 24, and Summer, 20, and son Jackson, 23, who he shared with ex Simone Callahan.
Now Brooke, Summer, Jackson and Simone have visited the former cricket star’s statue outside the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), with Summer paying a touching tribute to her father.
Sharing a photograph of the family together beside the iconic statue, Summer wrote: ‘Always here with us dad’, with a white heart and dove emoji.
Dozens of gifts and memorials could be seen surrounding the statue, with an Australian flag, balloons, flowers and candles left by countless heartbroken fans.

Warne’s only son Jackson also shared an image to Instagram, of himself standing beside his father’s massive statue.
He captioned the photo with a simple red heart.
The devastated siblings had paid heart-wrenching tributes to Warne on social media following his death, with Jackson writing: ‘Every day you told me how proud you were of me and I promise to try and keep making you proud.
‘I am going to miss you so much Dad, I wish I could look you in the eyes 1 more time and give you one more hug. You were truly the best father and bestmate anyone could’ve asked for (sic).’
Eldest sibling Brooke had said the news ‘doesn’t feel real and doesn’t make sense that you are not here with us anymore.

‘It doesn’t feel right, you were taken away too soon and life is so cruel. I will forever cherish our final memories together laughing and joking around with each other.’
Meanwhile, Warne’s youngest daughter Summer said he ‘hadn’t died’, he’d just ‘moved to a different place’, adding: ‘Dad, I miss you so much already.

The spin-bowler was found dead in his villa in Thailand on Friday, March 4, with an autopsy later confirming he died of natural causes.
