Pump Rules’ Katie Maloney ditches wedding ring in 1st outing since split from Tom Schwartz as he continues to wear band

VANDERPUMP Rules’ Katie Maloney has been spotted without her wedding ring for her first outing since she and husband Tom Schwartz announced that they are going their separate ways.

The 35-year-old reality star went ringless today as she stepped out to visit a friend’s house in her home city of Los Angeles.

Katie kept it casual in a graphic “Tramp Stamp Granny’s” T-shirt, leggings, and sliders.

A zoomed-in shot revealed that she was not wearing her wedding ring on her left hand.

Meanwhile, Tom, 39, was photographed wearing his as he stepped out to walk their dogs Gordo and Butter.

He wore a green sweater with grey shorts, and was even snapped holding a poop bag.

Despite their sudden split announcement earlier this week, the reality duo were both spotted at their $1.9m house.

BROKEN HOME

Yesterday, The Sun exclusively revealed that Katie is continuing to live there, while Tom has moved out and is staying with BFF Tom Sandoval.

As the pair is headed toward divorce after more than five years of marriage, a source close to them revealed to The Sun that they will have to give up their home in the process. 

The insider said: “They have to sell the house because it’s too big and too expensive for either of them to live there alone, it doesn’t make sense for them. 

“Katie is very much in the driver’s seat of this breakup so whatever she says goes.”

This latest development comes after The Sun exclusively revealed on Monday that the Brovolebrities had split up.

An insider told The Sun: “She feels the fault is on him and he had his chances to be better but he didn’t step up to the challenge.”

HEARTBREAKING ANNOUNCEMENTS

The next day, they confirmed the breakup in two separate Instagram posts. 

Katie told her followers: “After 12 years on an adventure through life together, Tom and I are ending our marriage.”

She added: “This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose.

“We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship.”

In his post, Tom wrote: “Well, this sucks, how am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f**kin’ Instagram caption?

“I’m not ready to use the ‘D’ word because it’s too painful. Yes, my heart aches.”

ROCKY ROAD

The couple has fueled breakup rumors for weeks after the podcast host shared cryptic quotes about divorce and showed off photos that emphasized her without a wedding ring.

Katie tied the knot to the TomTom co-founder in 2016, although the couple never officially filed their documents, and had to have another ceremony in 2019 to legally seal the deal.

Katie and Tom’s troubled marriage has been well documented on the Bravo show.
