A MAN has posted a hilarious clip of pub-goers’ reaction to Tipping Point – and it’s dubbed ‘peak British culture’.

The ITV quiz show airs weekdays at 4pm and has won a legion of fans since it began in 2012.

The footage sees pub-goers in Belfast watching the final moments

But one set of pub-goers seem heavily invested in the show, with TikTok user Danny McElvanna posting a clip of them going wild after a contestant won the jackpot token.

The Hatfield House Bar patrons were gripped by the episode, which saw a player called John get the £10,000 token from the machine.

The result lead the pub-goers in Belfast to celebrate in a way usually reserved for football teams scoring a goal or winning in a final, as they all jumped up and down, cheering wildly.

As the clip was then shared on Twitter, one person wrote: “To the people who say the UK have no culture, let me present a pub celebrating over a Tipping Point winner.”

Tipping Point fans livid as show hit by ‘travesty’ schedule shake-up this week

One commented: “This country is unreal.”

Another added: “This is Tipping Point heritage.”

The viral clip then reached Tipping Point host Ben Shephard, with it playing on Good Morning Britain.

Ben, 47, said: “I think we need to go there for a pint!”

Earlier this week, fans of the show were livid by a major scheduling shake up.

Tuesday’s edition was pushed back in the schedule to 4.30pm because of the racing on ITV.

Fans were not impressed that they had to wait 30 minutes longer than usual for their daily Tipping Point fix.

But they were even more annoyed when the show started and they discovered it was a Tipping Point: Best Ever Finals episode featuring a compilation of moments.

It also meant the episode had been cut down from it’s usual hour long run to just 30 minutes so that The Chase could start on time at 5pm.
