Unfortunately for Twitter user Frederick Payne, this is the exact scenario he found himself earlier this week.

But rather than beefing it out with a slice of toast and sausages, Freddy was given a few salad leaves with some pomegranate seeds scattered on top.

And to add insult to injury, the plate was also padded out with very thin slices of watermelon, orange, pineapple and grapefruit.
Needless to say, the man joked that he had since dumped his pal as a result.
He added: “£11 in Hampshire this was.
“Luckily my now ex-mate paid for it.”
