Peter Andre bloodied and bruised as he shares photo teasing secret project

Fans are used to seeing Peter Andre preened to perfection, but the singer has debuted a slightly different look.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 49, is working on a ‘secret project,’ which involved his typically polished looks being tarnished with blood and bruises.
Pete shared a selfie of his temporary look on Instagram, which gave his 1.8million followers quite a shock when they opened the app.
Posting a pic to his feed, he showed off a bruised cheek and bloody nose, with quite the serious expression.
He captioned the post: ‘Ouch!! #secretproject #comingsoon @therealfredinwaka @jessicas_beautique_’
Fans were quick to comment and let the I’m A Celeb icon know that he gave them a fright.
‘I actually got worried for second then 😂’ wrote one.
Not everyone realised immediately that Pete was working on a project, with many comments asking ‘what happened?’ and wishing him to ‘feel better soon.’
‘That looks painful,’ one follower wrote, with another commenting, ‘is it broken?’
Taking it upon themselves to clear things up, a fan explained: ‘People look at his post it says “secret project”‘
Commenters also praised the ‘fantastic’ make-up, which well and truly made Pete look like he got caught up in a fight.

Pete didn’t elaborate on what his mystery project is, but the hashtag ‘coming soon’ suggests we won’t have to wait long to find out!
However, perhaps the star’s bruises might be because he’s venturing further into the acting world, since he previously starred in movies.
He revealed that he had a brand new script in May last year, after an earlier role in The Inheritance involved the Aussie transforming into a heavily-tattooed heroin addict named Harry.
Posting a clip of the script on Insta, Pete was heard chatting to director Fredi Inwaka about the project, which had been given a working title of Ja-Faican.

The film features a ‘suspicious character’ called Billy Buckle.
‘Brand new film script we’re going to start later this year, I’m so excited,’ Peter said.
Fredi replied excitedly: ‘Trust me, it’s about to go down.’
It seems Pete is throwing himself back into work after his recent trip Down Under to reunite with his parents after two years.

He shared the emotional reunion on social media, posting pics of children Junior and Princess hugging his mother, whose health has ‘declined’ during the pandemic.
Pete said it ‘means a lot’ to finally see them again, and the days they spent together were ‘the greatest in many many ways.’
