Does This Shocking Move Reveal Nintendo’s Real Mobile Gaming Intentions
The goliath of the mobile market has produced remarkable results for the gaming industry. The success of titles like Candy Crush, PUBG mobile, and more has warmed the industry to invest heavily in this sector. However, Nintendo is making a different decision, as the Japanese studio has decided to pull the plug from its mega-successful mobile RPG title, Dragalia Lost.
The action-RPG title was released back in the second quarter of 2018, but sadly after merely spending 3+ years in the life cycle, it will be pulled from the play store. The studio shared the announcement through its official handle and stated that in July 2022, the game will be removed.

Nintendo might be exiting the mobile ecosystem with this move
The Japanese studio has already made a heavy investment in developing Switch devices. With the grand success of the console in the global market and a marvelous range of titles along with the live service. It seems like a move that will shift its focus on the console device and its titles instead of supporting the mobile platform.
The studio shared a blog post, and confirmed that the title will receive its final summoners showcase on 03/31/2022 at 11:30 that will be added to the game. The game will then no longer receive any updates, making part two of chapter 26, the final adventure that players can go on.

It is our sincere hope that you have enjoyed your experience with the game from the moment you started playing it, and we will strive to ensure that you continue to do so for as long as time allows.”

Nintendo’s decision to end the title’s run within the mobile market does not bear good news for players. It looks like the community of Dragalia Lost will have to purchase Switch devices to enjoy other iconic titles produced by the studio.
