Stranger Things season 4: Millie Bobby Brown and the gang face up to battle in ominous new look at upcoming series

Stranger Things season 4 is on the way and we’ve been treated to a new look at the upcoming antics.

Long story short, it all looks very ominous!

Our faves including Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) are all grown up as they face up to battle once again (when will these kids catch a break?).

They’re joined by new member of the gang Eddie (Joseph Quinn), who’s seen leading a special meeting of Hawkins High’s D&D club in one of the new snaps.

Meanwhile, things get very eerie at Creel House with Netflix teasing that Eddie, and returning characters Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and Robin (Maya Hawke) might just be in over their heads.

Of course, we get a look at Jim Hopper (David Harbour) who is alive and well, as was previously revealed in a trailer for the upcoming series.

As for if and when he’ll reunite with Eleven and Joyce (Winona Ryder), only time will tell.

Fans were treated to the Stranger Things season four episode titles in November, along with another teaser clip.

In the video, initially set to a dreamy California vibe, Eleven narrates a letter she’s writing to Mike about her new life in the state with Joyce, Will and Jonathan all present and correct.

She continues: ‘Even so, I am ready for spring break. Mostly because I get to see you.’

‘We will have the best spring break ever,’ she adds, and this, of course, marks the start of gunshots, a creepy doll, a mysterious bunker door in the desert and the appearance of armed personnel, all capped off with an explosion.

This clip marked the fourth teaser for new drama, with a previous trailer revealing Hopper is still alive.

Writers Matt and Ross Duffer hailed the series the most ‘challenging’ yet ‘rewarding.’

In an open letter to fans, they wrote: ‘With nine scripts, over 800 pages and almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one.

Stranger Things season four, volume one will drop on Netflix on May 27.
