The hunky actor laughed between takes of the Star series, Culprits

Wearing a black T-shirt underneath a black stab vest and with protective pads on his elbows and knees, the star smiled between takes before going into serious mode once the cameras were rolling.

At one point, the actor helped a blood covered female police officer escape down a street while carrying a machine gun.

Culprits stars Gemma Arterton, Eddie Izzard and Karl Collins and will air on Disney+.

The series premise revolves around a crew that conducted heists who then find themselves being killed off one by one.

Bridgerton season 2 cast: Who stars in Netflix drama?

However, fans of hit E4 series Misfits may struggle to recognise actor Nathan Stewart-Jarrett in the pictures, as he’s beefed up and grown his hair long since his days on the show.

Nathan, 36, played Curtis Donovan from 2009 to 2012 in the series which followed a group of young offenders sentenced to work in a community service programme.

While there, they obtained supernatural powers after a strange electrical storm.

Curtis gained the power of time manipulation and the ability to swap biological sex, followed by the ability to resurrect people from the dead.

Sadly, the character was killed off in the fourth episode of the fourth series, leaving fans devastated, before the show came to an end after its fifth season in 2013.

Since then, Nathan has continued to work solidly on TV and on the big screen.

From 2013 to 2014 he played Ian Johnson in Channel 4 series Utopia and had a recurring role in The Trial of Christine Keeler.

Last year he appeared in the Candyman sequel playing Troy Cartwright.
