On January 22, 2022, the Italian rock band, Måneskin, made their SNL debut with their hit song I Wanna Be Your Slave and a cover of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons song, Beggin.

Måneskin performed on Italy’s The X Factor before winning Eurovision last year for their song Zitti E Buoni.

On the January 29 episode, SNL introduced Willem Dafoe who made his SNL hosting debut with Katy Perry as the musical guest.

Dafoe is recognized for his starring roles in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Platoon, John Wick, the first Spider-Man trilogy, and Aquaman.

Katy Perry’s popular hits include Firework, Dark Horse, Teenage Dream, I Kissed A Girl, Chained to the Rhythm, and many more.

This was Perry’s fourth time performing on SNL with previous appearances in 2010, 2013, and 2017.

She also hosted the show in 2011.
