Tom Parker will star in tomorrow’s Celebrity Pointless as BBC pays tribute to late singer with schedule change

THE BBC have rescheduled Saturday night’s Celebrity Pointless which will now be a pre-recorded episode of the quiz featuring the late Tom Parker.

The Wanted star, who tragically died of a brain tumour this week aged just 33, appeared on the BBC1 favourite with bandmate Max George.

The duo make their way to the final round, aiming to win money for two charities – The Brain Tumour Charity and Brain Research UK.

BBC bosses decided to change the planned edition of Celebrity Pointless at 7.50pm and swap it for the episode which Tom features in, which was originally due to air next year.

Together with Max, Tom beats off competition from the other pairs of stars on the show – they are Kimberley Nixon and Greg McHugh, Dom Joly and Ria Lina, Dominic Holland and Ninia Benjamin.

The Beeb are airing the show in tribute to the singer – a change which was completely back by his heartbroken family.
