Seth Rollins Blurts 6 Hateful Words on Cody Rhodes’ AEW Background During WrestleMania Classic

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes made his presence felt in WWE after six years in a match against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38. The former AEW TNT Champion had left WWE because of booking decisions and backstage problems.

Cody Rhodes’s entrance initially had mixed reactions by fans but later everyone was along with them. It was a scene to watch as the arena was cheering with “CODY” chants all around. He got a warm welcome from the WWE Universe.

However, the AEW star did not get a feel-good welcome from his opponent, Seth Rollins. When Cody’s music started, Seth was already excited to have a classic with the youngest Rhodes son of Dusty.

While the match the ongoing, Seth Rollins mumbled some words to Cody Rhodes a bit loudly. Those words addressed the AEW background of The American Nightmare.

It was a direct sign that Seth Rollins will target Cody Rhodes for his AEW background in the future. It is WCW vs WWE all around again. Like X- Pac was the first one to jump ship back to WWE from WCW, Cody has come back home to WWE from AEW.

The American Nightmare is scheduled for RAW after WrestleMania on Monday. It is exciting to see what does Cody have in his pocket for Seth Rollins and WWE in his current return in the Vince McMahon company.

Cody Rhodes is happy to be back

Earlier this year, the news broke that Cody Rhodes had left AEW. Fans did not expect that he would join WWE, but the rumors started for it. 

After Elimination Chamber, in late March multiple sources confirmed it Cody has signed a WWE. He made his presence felt at WrestleMania 38. After the match, Cody kissed the ring and is was a homecoming scene.

The Rhodes aren’t of any company

Sometime back, Cody Rhodes appeared in an interview with Chris Van Vliet. There he discussed his time in WWE and also stated that he is still in a good relationship with the company. Chris addressed if the Rhodes were the enemies of WWE.

Cody said that his family has never stayed in one company. He reflected that his father Dusty Rhodes was never a proper corporate man and he worked territory to territory in his career. 

As of now, Cody is back in WWE and fans are excited to see what is next for The American Nightmare in his second run with the company.
