I went to get my makeup done for my birthday – the artist catfished me and I look like I’ve been beaten up

A BIRTHDAY girl was left in tears after she went to a makeup artist for a glam look and ended up with a botched one.

People actually believed she must have done something to the artist for her to end up looking like she did.

Taking to social media, a birthday girl who simply goes by the name of Payton revealed she had gone to a makeup artist to get ready for her dinner party.

Because the makeup artist had boasted about her flawless skills with Instagram pictures of previous clients, she believed she was in good hands.

Unfortunately, she realized she had made a terrible mistake hiring her when she saw how poorly she was doing her job.

In the end, her face looked cakey, her powder wasn’t blended, and her concealer was too light.

Payton added that she “started crying in the middle of it” and that she was “catfished with my birthday makeup.”

Following her posting the video, people actually believe she must have done the artist wrong in some way because it was the only way to justify such a terrible job.

One person asked: “You were talking to her man or something?”

A second said: “This is a crime.”

And a third asked if the artist had used chalk to do her makeup.

Previously, a woman was betrayed by her hairstylist when she asked her for a pixie cut and ended up looking like a mushroom.

New Yorker Zoe, who posts on TikTok as Blooper Reelz, showed off her unfortunate haircut on the platform.

Posing with her hood up, Zoe said: “This is the photo I showed my hairdresser” – with a vintage snap of actress Winona Ryder.

She then took down her hood, revealing: “This is how it looks.

“Help me,” she later added.

Commenting on the video, other women wrote: “Omg!” and “This TikTok is hysterical.”

One said: “Oh my gosh I’m so sorry that happened. I wish I could cut it for you.”

While a second wrote: “I’m so sorry. I do think though that you’ll be able to style it I think. Also, you’re very cute anyway.”

And a third added: “I think I want my money back…”

Some said Zoe’s desired cut never would’ve worked on her hair – but the stylist should have warned her of that.
