Bargain fans are sharing their Easter finds from Aldi, Asda and Poundland, but you’ll need to move fast to get yours

MUMS are raving about the Easter bargains they’re bagging from discount stores like Poundland, Asda and Aldi, but you’ll have to move fast if you want to do the same.

The savvy shoppers took to Facebook to share their seasonal hauls including lamb teddies and bunny Easter egg baskets.

The delighted bargain fans wrote on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page sharing details of their buys.

One mum shared a snap of an adorable lamb stuffed toy with the caption: “Home bargains £2.49. Comes in yellow ribbon as well.”

Another shopper chipped in that she had bought the same: “They also do ones with blue ribbon. My daughter has one. Didn’t have any pink ribbon ones at the time.”

While another mum found a sweet bunny egg-basket for £4.

She said: “Cute little wicker easter baskets from Poundland for £4. Seen in both Metro Centre Gateshead and Arnison Centre in Durham.”

Parents are also going wild for Aldi’s Easter squishmellows, but you’ve got to get to your local store quickly if you want one.

One mum wrote: “Easter squishmellows Aldi £4.99 each, available from today. Ours only had three complete sets in store at 8am.”

Another said: “Wahooo!!! I got them!! Not many in the store though! I got the last yellow chick that was put out – went at opening time 8am!”


Fellow bargain fans were impressed with the adorable purchase, one said: “They are so cute aren’t they.”

Many were disappointed when they tried to find them the stuffed toys for themselves and found them sold out.

One person encouraged others to look elsewhere, she said: “The Home Bargains ones are nicer. And bigger!”
