WWE Hall of Famer Responds to Vince McMahon’s Ultimate Botch at WrestleMania 38: “You Pay Money to be Entertained”

It’s unreal to expect someone who is over 75 to perform the same way that a 25 year old would. It’s already impressive that they are entering the ring. Therefore, when Vince McMahon performed at WrestleMania 38, that in itself was excellent.

Now, everyone noticed that when Stone Cold Steve Austin executed a stunner on The Big Man at WrestleMania 38, McMahon botched the move. It did not come off as well as it did when Stone Cold executed it on others.

Considering how much the fans pointed it out, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff couldn’t help but speak on McMahon’s behalf on 83 Weeks Podcast.

“I know people are going to be laughing about the Stunner and whatever but come on man. You pay money to be entertained and having fun is a part of that. That whole segment was nothing but fun. Yeah, the Stunner looked horrible and I would imagine Vince is very angry with himself but hopefully, he gives himself a break because he entertained the hell out of me and a lot of people man. Hats off to Vince, the entire team, and so many people. What an incredible event, in many ways, I think it’s one of my favorite WrestleManias in a long time.” H/t WrestlingInc

Yes, it’s true that Vince McMahon didn’t perform like he could when he was younger, but what he did in the ring was enough to have the crowd popping like never before!

Vince McMahon may not come back to the ring anytime soon

When The Big Man returned to the ring at WrestleMania 38, the fans, especially the ones who followed WWE during The Attitude Era, couldn’t believe their eyes!

It was probably one of the best moments of the event. But, the fact that it was The Most Stupendous WrestleMania definitely played a role in that.

There is minimum to no chance of him coming back to the ring anytime soon. The only other time he can come back to the ring is to make a special announcement or to make an appearance.

On the other hand, Vince McMahon has been in the mood to push Austin Theory to the top. Hence, it won’t be a surprise if suddenly The Big Man appears ringside to support the young Superstar.
