Is Brock Lesnar Done With WWE After WrestleMania Loss to Roman Reigns?

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns had a clash of the century at WrestleMania 38. The winner of the match was to be called the WWE Universal Champion, as it was a title unification match. Roman Reigns pinned Lesnar and took both the championships home with him on the night of Day 2 of WrestleMania 38.

After the match was over and the show went off the air, The Beast Incarnate went backstage with a huge ovation from the fans. He waved goodbye to the WWE Universe and proceeded to the Gorilla Position.

Everyone thought this was the last match of Brock Lesnar in his current WWE run. He didn’t show up at RAW after WrestleMania to confront Roman Reigns for a rematch. So, the question everyone has in their mind is whether Brock Lesnar is done after WrestleMania 38?

Recently, PWinsider shared the names of the WWE superstars that are being advertised for the upcoming WWE Premium Live Event WrestleMania BackLash. One of the names is Brock Lesnar, who is among the top superstars advertised for the event.

So we can say that The Beast is not done with WWE as of now. WWE has advertised Lesnar for WrestleMania BackLash. However, the match card is always subject to change. But WWE wouldn’t advertise a superstar that isn’t under contract at the time of the Premium Live Event.

The Beast took a silent retirement that nobody knew

Brock Lesnar had a match booked against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. However, due to the pandemic, that match took place at the WWE Performance Center in front of no audience. After losing to McIntyre, The Beast didn’t sign a WWE contract and stayed retired.

On appearing on the Michael Kay Show sometime back, Lesnar gave the reason for his silent retirement. He had his first pro-wrestling match in front of no audience and thought this was a full circle story of having his last match in front of no audience at WrestleMania 36.
