“Michael Jordan Boutta Go Get His Belt”: Viral LaMelo Ball Video Draws Harsh Fan Reactions After Hornets Loss

The Charlotte Hornets fell out of the play-in tournament after a blowout loss against the Atlanta Hawks. Trae Young’s side emerged victorious by a big margin. The Hawks won 132-103. Despite a good performance from LaMelo Ball, they fell short by more points than their star man scored.

Ball put up 26 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. It was not enough as Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets lost by 26 points. Trae Young starred with his 24 points. He also got 11 assists and 3 rebounds. The highest point scorer and assist provider of this year’s regular season showed his class once again.

Trae Young made sure they crossed the finishing line comprehensively. De’Andre Hunter of the Hawks also played a good supporting role to Trae Young and grabbed 22 points.

Hornets never picked up the lead and never had the momentum in the game. They trailed the Hawks all game. The team did not look competitive enough and the Atlanta Hawks were simply better.

LaMelo Ball “relaxing” in his way after the loss

A recent viral video of LaMelo smoking caused chaos among the fans. Although whatever LaMelo chooses to do off the court is part of his personal life, some fans were not that happy and open-minded.

Blunts taste like shit. People only smoke them because it’s the “cool” way to smoke. I’ll die on this hill.

Bro you probably just had Reggie give it another go

— L E E K (@leek_certified) April 14, 2022

Didn’t seem to improve his game much as they are getting their asses kicked by the Hawks. Anyone who thinks they can play better when they’re high is severely out of touch with reality.

Overrated player. If he is in the league 5 years from now I will be shocked. Taller than Ja Morant, yet nowhere in the same conversation.

Michael Jordan must be really unhappy to see his team lose in the play-in tournament. Moreover, he would have been angry about the way they lost. Knowing Jordan’s competitiveness, for sure he expects his team to have a similar mindset as well.

The Atlanta Hawks will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the play-in. The winner will then go through to the playoffs. The winner would then clash against the first seed side Miami Heat.
