Bianca Andreescu Reveals Her Tennis Goals for the Year as Fans Await Her Comeback News

Bianca Andreescu is hoping for a strong comeback to the tour. The 2019 US Open champion last played on the tour at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters, suffering a second-round exit. In December, she further withdrew from the Australian Open citing mental health reasons.

Four months after taking a short break from the game, Bianca seems to be coming out stronger and more positive than ever. An example of it is Bianca’s latest Instagram story. Yesterday, Andreescu took to her Instagram uploading a series of stories.

The series of Instagram stories was a compilation of ‘Ask me a question’ stories. Even though the rising star answered a number of questions, what took the highlight was her answer to the question ‘What are your tennis goals for the year’.

Andreescu hasn’t made any official announcement of her comeback yet. However, Bianca’s answer to the question has opened room for speculation. Answering the question, Bianca said, “I want to enjoy myself on the court, always do my best, continue growing, and embrace every challenge.”

Prior to this, Bianca also dropped certain hints about her comeback in February. Bianca uploaded an Instagram post, addressing the experience she had at the Wisdom and Well-being Program in Costa Rica. Even though she spoke about her experience, it was her last line that grabbed the major attention. The last line of the caption read, “Can’t wait to come back!”

Apart from this answer, Andreescu also answered a number of other questions like her favorite thing to do after a match, her favorite playlist, her daily positive phrase and how did she push herself to be where she is today, amongst others.
