Red Bull & Ferrari Ramp Up for ‘More of the Same’ Leclerc-Verstappen Battle at Imola
Charles Leclerc is leading the drivers’ championship table, and by quite a margin. He can even miss a Grand Prix and would still remain at the top. No one has come quite close to challenging the Ferrari so far in the opening three races of the season. The pace of the Ferrari F1-75 is almost unparalleled on the grid. However, this has not stopped Max Verstappen from going after the Monegasque.
And fans are desperate to see more of their nail-biting duels throughout the season.
Charles Leclerc Vs Max Verstappen? More of that, please!
Leclerc has been the outright performer of the first three races. Only Max Verstappen has gotten the better of him at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
Max is struggling to bring consistent points for the team due to the lack of reliability of Red Bull‘s RB18. The current world champion is an aggressive driver who likes to push his opponents to the limit. But because of the unreliable Red Bull, he has retired his car twice in three races. However, the one time he got the car to the chequered flag, he won that race.
But one cannot take away anything from Leclerc. The Ferrari F1-75 is not only rapid but also extremely reliable. These qualities have given a lot of confidence to the Ferrari duo. Leclerc particularly has not finished below P2 in the opening three races. This would certainly be a huge confidence booster for him.

The two have been at each other’s throats since their karting days. Briefly separated for a few years, both of them are back at it. Now they have the biggest stage they can get. The two are not only more mature, but also more competitive. And this has been a treat for all the fans so far. After their clashes in the first three races, we can only hope for more at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
New rivalry in the making?
People are hardly aware of the fact that the rivalry between the two drivers started with their karting days. But we can not point to the incident during their karting days as the reason for the current intensity.

Whatever may the reason be, we can’t wait to see some more of the same on the track. Hopefully, more duels between the two come our way throughout the season.
