LeBron James and Jaden Smith Are Helping Pakistan in a Way They Wouldn’t Have Thought

LeBron James is known for dominating the game inside the court. But off-duty, James is known for giving back to society in the best way he can. James had also established his family foundation, helping kids pursue their education. His off-court acts have impressed many, as it is how an athlete of his stature contributes to the society off-court.

A couple of years ago, LeBron’s name had floated in a water supply chain in Pakistan. Paani Project, a nonprofit organization that provides all sorts of aid in and around the country, has a few celebrity names under them. This organization’s headquarters are located in Michigan, United States, and it has several high-profile entities attached to it.

LeBron James has a water well named after him in Pakistan

Paani Project was established in 2017. Since then, the organization has raised over $100k and has built 200 wells in Pakistan. Not only this, Paani has several wells named after athletes and celebrities, including former cricketer Imran Khan and entertainer Jaden Smith.

Notably, Paani volunteers acknowledged LeBron, claiming that James was the most visible when it came to bringing awareness among people.

LeBron has certainly shown his activism by speaking on social awareness, and building schools and residential buildings for those in need. James will now have clean water served in his name in drained regions far from LA. Giving back to the community seems far more than just basketball praise, LeBron has definitely made a name for himself internationally.
