Over the years, John Cena has posed for several photographs. But, what about the ones where he’s invisible? Or at least, that’s what the joke says.

Anyone who knows Cena’s WWE run, knows that there is an on-going joke that The Champ is invisible. It stems from Cena doing the ‘You Can’t See Me’ gesture to his rivals in the ring.

To keep the joke alive, fans have often pointed to nothing and claimed John Cena is standing there. On the other hand, when Cena is in a photograph, they’ve claimed there is no one standing. This is what the fans played off on when a photograph of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena emerged.

The photograph was termed as “iconic duo” instead of trio, indicating that only Triple H and Shawn Michaels are there for the only ones in the photograph.

John Cena never thought he would become a meme

The Champ was quite surprised when he realized he had become a meme. While he knew fans often joked about the invisibility angle, he never thought it would reach a point where he’s a popular meme.

Every other day someone will come up with a new way of keeping the joke alive. It doesn’t seem like the WWE fans will let go of the joke anytime soon!

Speaking of WWE, the last time Cena was at WWE was during SummerSlam 2021. He returned at Money in the Bank 2021 and picked up a rivalry with Roman Reigns.

They had the Universal Championship match at SummerSlam 2021. After Reigns defeated Cena, The Champ left WWE again. However, he promised to return soon.

So far, there isn’t any news of him coming back to WWE. He had to resume the Hollywood schedule he had put on hold to work all the dates with WWE.

One of the major projects he worked on since SummerSlam 2021 is The Peacemaker series. This is the first time he’s doing a series, and it’s been rather successful between the fans!
