ATP and WTA Collaborate for the First Time to Launch an App for the Fans
Sport has seen growing innovation in the last decade. With an emphasis on making sports more innovative and fast-paced, there have been many changes undergoing in the sporting world. Further, with minor rule changes to the growing popularity of the Non-fungible tokens, popularly called NFTs, these have revolutionized sports. Recently, men’s and women’s tennis governing bodies, ATP and WTA, collaborated to meet one of the demands of tennis fans.
ATP and WTA team up to launch an exciting new feature
The two bodies launched a combined, all-in-one app for tennis fans. Earlier, the fans had to switch between the apps of ATP and WTA to follow the live scores and stats of women’s and men’s tennis. However, with the launch of the ATP WTA Live app, tennis fans need not switch between two different apps to follow men’s and women’s tennis.

Additionally, the app is highly customizable which will allow the fans to pick their favorite players and tournaments to get in-depth content related to those. The mobile application will also provide behind-the-scenes content, which will make the fan experience all the more exciting.

Djokovic overcomes tough Djere challenge
The 20-time Grand Slam champion is in his native country to participate at the Serbia Open. Yesterday, he had to dig deep to overcome his compatriot, Laslo Djere in his tournament opener. In just his third tournament of the season, Djokovic overcame a resilient Djere with a 2-6, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (4) victory in three hours and 21 minutes in Belgrade.
Djokovic evidently appeared short on match practice, as his opponent dictated terms in the first half of the match. Djere was a set and a break of serve up against Djokovic. However, he couldn’t capitalize on the lead, as Djokovic eventually prevailed in a marathon battle. In the quarterfinals, Djokovic will be up against another Serb, Miomir Kecmanovic.
