Brad Keselowski Reveals His Surprising Stance on NASCAR’s Heavy Sanctions on RFK Racing
In the 2022 NASCAR Cup season, Brad Keselowski has not enjoyed himself at all. His maiden tryst as the driver-owner of Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing has been an uphill struggle. Unfortunately, it got a whole lot worse when his team got hauled up for technical infringements and penalized. Owing to that, RFK Racing lost a chunk of points and was seriously hobbled. The outfit lodged an appeal but ultimately lost. Recently, Keselowski opened up on the series of unfortunate events.

He said, “Ultimately, whether we won the appeal or lost the appeal. Keep in mind, I’m in this for the long haul. It’s not one season, its many seasons. One season, whether it’s good or bad, is not going to say whether we are successful or not. What’s going to matter is when we win races and championships. The points penalty really doesn’t affect any of those, because you’re not going to make the Playoffs and do anything unless you win races. Where my headspace is, it’s really simple, I want to go out and win races and everything will take care of itself. I’m confident we put all the pieces together, we got a great team.”
Can Brad Keselowski and Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing bounce back?
Theoretically speaking, it is possible to lift himself and the team up from their rut. All it takes is one win and he or Chris Buescher can book their Playoff berth and be in the hunt for the title. It would be an excellent bonus if both of them could reach the Playoffs. However, they both know that the competition will be stiff for the Playoff berths.

For now, both Buescher and Brad Keselowski will be focusing on getting their season back on track. The 2012 Cup Series champion is also aware that the RFK Racing team cannot afford any more technical infringements. Otherwise, hunting for a Playoff seat will be the least of their worries.
