“No Other Like Him”: Hollywood and WWE Floods John Cena With Wishes on His 45th Birthday

‘Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect’ of WWE celebrated his 45th birthday on April 23rd. No one can see ‘The Cenation Leader’ coming in the ring, but outside, there is no other WWE legend who is more recognized and worshipped than John Cena by at least one fan in every nook and corner of the world.

No fancy introduction won’t be enough to depict the 16-time World Champion, who stars in blockbuster Hollywood movies and has been the beloved face of WWE since he first set foot in the ring nearly two decades ago.

On The Prototype’s 45th birthday, many WWE superstars and Hollywood celebs poured in wishes on social media. Cena has been off the WWE television to focus on his acting career, especially the HBO superhero series, Peacemaker. WWE Tag team champions Sasha Banks and Naomi, The Champ’s colleagues from Hollywood as well as over a million fans, greeted him via Twitter.

John Cena has an unparalleled mainstream appeal that has always captivated the audience. His Never Give Up attitude and ethos on and off the ring are the most significant traits that made him a hero in people’s minds. ‘The Chain Gang Soldier’ has not worked in a WWE program since his defeat to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at SummerSlam in 2021 August.

However, he appeared briefly on SmackDown at Madison Square Garden last September. Also, Cena is very likely to return to this year’s SummerSlam. He had stated that he’s “not done with WWE by a long shot” in January while promoting his show Peacemaker on Ellen.

The Boss, Sasha Banks, who has known John Cena for a very long time, took it to Twitter to wish him a happy 45th birthday. The tag team champion also attached a few nostalgic pics of her with Cena. Also, Banks’ current teammate Naomi aka Trinity Fatu tweeted, “Happy birthday NHOJ @JohnCena miss you on these house shows lol“.

Furthermore, the latest US champion and rising star Austin Theory wished the WWE legend but slightly threw a taunt as well. Theory shared a video of him saying that he is better than John Cena to a young fan of The Champ, as well.
