Colin Kaepernick Remains Desperate For NFL Return: “If I’m Not Good Enough, Get Rid Of Me”

The upcoming season of the NFL is upon us. As the free agency is open, many players are seeking to play for new teams. Some players haven’t been part of the league for a reasonable amount of time. Notably, Colin Kaepernick is one of them.

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin, last played in NFL on 1st January 2017. Following the end of his contract with the 49ers, he became a free agent. As a result, it has been five years since the quarterback was a part of the league.

However, the quarterback has continuously tried to get back into the league. Surprisingly, no team is looking to take a chance on him. During his time in the NFL, Colin had a record of 37-31-1 for the San Francisco 49ers. Notably, he threw for 12,271 yards and 72 touchdowns in the six seasons he played for the 49ers.

In the current offseason, Colin Kaepernick has tried quite hard to get a chance to play in the league. He also displayed his skills in Michigan, which caught the eye of many teams. There is still a possibility of him getting picked by one of the teams before the start of next season.

The former 49ers Quarterback is desperate for an opportunity. He wants to show the world that he is still a good quarterback. Unsurprisingly, he is also open for the spot of a backup quarterback on any team.

Colin added, “I know I have to find my way back in. So, if I have to come in as a backup, that’s fine.”  Primarily Colin wants an opportunity to showcase his talent in front of the world.

Which teams can benefit from acquiring Colin?

Many teams around the league can benefit from a QB like Colin. However, the two names that emerge as the standout are the Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers.

Both of these teams can utilize Colin Kaepernick in the next season. The quarterback situation in both Carolina and Seattle will get more clarity following the NFL Draft 2022.

Many people expect these teams to get a new QB via the draft. However, if their situation doesn’t improve after the draft, we might see Colin getting his much-awaited chance to redeem himself.
