‘Great To Be Back’ – Roger Federer Puts On Philanthropist’s Hat To Visit Malawi
Roger Federer is one of the most famous personalities across the globe. While his tennis career remains one of the best in history, he is also a philanthropist, working mainly in his mother’s home continent of Africa. Ahead of his comeback to the ATP, Roger Federer seems to be on his feet again.

The Swiss Maestro was recently in Venice and was spotted looking ever so stylish on a boat ride. Recently though, he posted a picture of himself in Malawi, a country in Southeast Asia. His foundation has a huge network in the country and works there for the welfare of the children.

Roger Federer, who is quite active on social media, posted a picture that details his foundation’s footprint in other African countries as it looks into the health and education of children. Over the years, it has contributed a lot to the infrastructure there.
Federer announced return to tour
It is possible that amongst the Big Three, Federer has the most number of fans. He made all of them super happy recently by announcing his return to the tour.
The former World No. 1 has been out of circuit for quite some time now, owing to multiple knee surgeries. While he has been teasing his fans about a comeback for a good few months now, he just announced that he will be play at the Basel Open. This tournament, which is very close to Federer’s heart, will be held in October this year.

Federer’s last match was at Wimbledon, where he lost to Hubert Hurkacz in the quarterfinals. While some fans were rooting for him to make a return for the grass season, he said some time back that he wont be ready to play at SW19.
