“It Just Shows People”: Becky Lynch Goes Unfiltered on Triple H Changing WWE’s Women’s Division

The women of WWE have come a long way from the beginning of the business. After decades of playing the role of sidekicks, in 2015, they rallied together to make some changes.

Following the paths the legends like Fabulous Moolah, Chyna, Trish Stratus, and Lita paved, the current female roster has been conquering the peaks in pro wrestling.

While the focal point of applause still hardly comes onto the female superstars, many women, including Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bianca Belair, have fought to earn their spotlight.

Also, the male superstars who supported the noble cause deserve great applause. Recently, ‘Big Time Becks’ talked about how Triple H pushed the women’s division and always believed in them while being an executive in WWE.

Becky Lynch shares some perspective on how Triple H supported women in WWE

The RAW superstar commented on various things in a recent episode of 102.5 ‘The Bone‘. Further, Becky Lynch talked about Triple H‘s influence on the women’s division and a comparison between how they treat women treated in WWE and AEW.

First of all, Triple H never treated us like we were any different than the guys. Always made sure we were represented on NXT with great stories, with time, with opportunity, said the former RAW champion.

“And it just grew from there, and it was a spark. I think once we proved that we were capable of hanging with the guys. And we were capable of stealing the show. It just shows people there should be no difference. There should be no reason that I am not the main event. And there should be no reason that we are not getting stories, and not getting the time. Not being in the position to entertain the crowd in the way that we have been in the past few years,” Lynch added.

On whether AEW would push ‘The Man’ more

The debate about the management in WWE and AEW has been among the wrestling fandom for a while. Although WWE tops the other in many areas, both entertainments succeed in providing what the audience needs.

Speaking on whether AEW would have given her more opportunities and spotlight, Becky Lynch opined, “So, I wish I could yes. But unfortunately, I don’t think they’re represented the way that we are. They don’t get as much time as we get. And frankly, they’re not as good as we are.”

Lynch’s statement reminded her husband and WWE superstar Seth Rollins’ comments after Cody Rhodes’ returned to WWE after co-founding and serving time in AEW. ‘The Irish Lass Kicker’ had only praises to send in the way of Vince McMahon’s empire. She said with a stern voice, that they have the best women’s division in the world in RAW.

Furthermore, Becky Lynch gave a shout-out to her ”very good friend” Ruby Soho, and added that she would love to see her as a champion one day. Also, she said, “Competition is always great, but over here we are on another level right now”. The entire WWE fandom would agree that RAW delivers pretty thrilling segments almost every Monday night.
