Getting married to the love of your life is the stuff of dreams. Hence, the grand occasion often demands perfection; which is why Justin Thomas is taking the time to plan his wedding. However, he has one serious rule that can’t be compromised whatsoever.
Justin Thomas’ marriage will have one strict rule
The 14-time major championship winner and his long-time girlfriend, Jillian Wisniewski, have been through thick and thin in his career. It is believed that they began dating in 2016. Ever since, Jillian follows Thomas to every event that the young professional plays at. Furthermore, the 2021 Ryder Cup-winning team member recently spoke about one particular restriction that should be followed during the marriage.
The one-time major championship winner spoke about the same on the Be Right podcast. Justin talked about the restriction of not using phones at this wedding in the latest episode of the podcast.
JT said, “I have very few things that we ‘had’ to have, but my No. 1 was definitely no phones. I don’t want phones, I want people to just live in the moment and enjoy the night, enjoy the weekend.”

He added, “If it’s another golfer or myself or whatever, someone that could potentially be filmed or whatever, I don’t want anybody to feel like they can’t have fun and enjoy themselves because someone’s filming their every move.” Moreover, in the age of technology, it is incredible to see Thomas opting to not use gadgets and just enjoy the special moment.
Justin wins the 2017 PGA Championship
Thomas won his first major championship title in 2017. He won the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club. Moreover, the 28-year-old professional ended the event with an overall score of eight-under-par. As a result, he won the event with a comfortable two-shot advantage.
Thomas carded a final round of three-under-par, 68 to finish on the top of the leaderboard. His final round of 68 featured three birdies and two bogeys, and three birdies on the opening nine holes. Hence, he moved out in one-under-par, 35. JT made three birdies and one bogey on the back nine to triumph at the major championship event.
