Washington Football Team Player Punches Teammate During Heavy Defeat Against Dallas Cowboys

Last night, the Washington Football Team succumbed to a massive 56-14 defeat thanks to a complete performance by the Dallas Cowboys. Emotions were high throughout the game, and unfortunately, an act of violence was committed in the heat of the moment.

By the second quarter of the game, the Dallas Cowboys were absolutely running with the game. The score at the point was 28-7, and the game, as mentioned, was simply out of Washington‘s reach. Owing to this, the Washington players were visibly upset on the sidelines, and soon, a ruckus broke out. Former Alabama teammates broke into a fight as Jonathan Allen punched Daron Payne.

Post-match, when Allen was quipped about his conduct, the player refused to elaborate and blamed it on the tense situation. “Emotions are high, things happen,” Allen said after the game. “I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist if you look at how that game went.”

Daron Payne was also quipped after the match about the incident, but he too refused to elaborate. Payne described the incident to the reporters as “wrong place, wrong time” and saw it as a brotherly fight. “You got brothers? You guys fight, right?” Payne asked reporters. “It’s all good.”

Washington Football Team coach Ron Rivera says no to punishment

Washington Football Team’s coach was a very unhappy man for obvious reasons. A heavy defeat and players punching each other during the match? It’s a stuff of nightmares. As expected, the coach was asked about his player’s conduct, to which he surprisingly revealed that they would go unpunished.

The coach then added, “I’ve talked with them and as far as I’m concerned, that’s where it’s going to stay. What my players say to me is really nobody’s business.”
