I hit Tesco for some last minute swimwear and the quality blew me away – it’s so underrated, and I even got 25% off

SHE’D left her holiday shopping to the last minute.

But Libbie knew she’d be in luck if she headed to her local Tesco supermarket, to peruse their budget offerings.

But she knew she’d find some goodies if she headed to her local Tesco – and she was righttiktok.com/@libbiemayfitzpatrick

This pink swimsuit was one of her supermarket buys, which she teamed with Primark shorts for a day out in Kostiktok.com/@libbiemayfitzpatrick

And her hunch was right, as she came across numerous swimsuit and loungewear options that were incredible quality but purse-friendly prices.

“Does anyone else literally leave everything til the last minute and always say, I’m gonna be prepared, but I never am?” Libbie began her TikTok video.

The first thing she came across was a cute beige crop top and matching shorts, which she said was “giving Adenola”.

“It is honestly stunning,” she gushed.

“The quality of Tesco’s at the minute is a game changer!

“I used to be like, ‘No, I’m not shopping in Tesco!’ Now it’s the Holy Grail!”

Libbie then made her way over to the swimsuit section, where a stunning pink one-piece caught her eye.

“Wow. Wow,” she said.

“Yes, yes, yes. 100% I’m getting that.

“The quality as well feels so thick!”

Moving onto a cream patterned bikini top with gold detailing, Libbie added: “Look at this one here.

“Tell me that’s not bougie as anything.

“There is currently 25% off if you’ve got a Clubcard as well, so even better.

“And they’re not even expensive anyway, and you’re gonna get an extra discount!”

She also loved a lace-up navy swimsuit, but was “gutted” because they didn’t have it in her size.

But she did manage to grab a zebra-print number, as she continued: “Honestly, Tesco’s is so underrated.

“They have so many cute little staple pieces!”

What is the UK’s cheapest supermarket?

WE’RE all looking for ways to save on our supermarket shops. But which store should you go to if you’re on a strict budget?

According to Which?, who compare thousands of prices at the top eight UK supermarkets – Aldi, Asda, Lidl, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose – every month, there’s one place that outweighs the rest in terms of being budget-friendly.
In April 2024, Aldi was at the top of the list, with Which? comparing 67 popular groceries costing an average of £112.90.
Lidl isn’t far behind, at £115.23, followed by Asda in third place with a bill of £126.98.
Tesco was next, at £128.17, while Sainsbury’s rounded out the top five with £131.02.

People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: “omg yes!”

“Nice pieces,” another said.

As a third added: “You got some amazing bits!!”

“Lovely,” someone else praised.

Libbie has since been showing off her holiday fits while enjoying the sunshine in Kos.

On day three of the break, she teamed her pink Tesco swimsuit with a pair of pink shorts and flip flops, both of which were from Primark.

“Love the pink!” one person commented on the TikTok.

“You look absolutely gorgeous,” another praised.
