I haven’t worn thongs in four years – I prefer granny pants instead… but a £6 Primark offering has changed my life

A WOMAN who hasn’t worn thongs in more than four years has credited a £6 Primark offering for changing her life.

Adele has been a devout granny pant wearer since she had kids, and would never consider wearing a thong.

But she’s recently been on a quest to see if she could find a thong she could tolerate wearing, and thought she might have discovered a game changer when people recommended a Primark one.

However, when Adele bought the Primark thongs she thought were being recommended, she was sorely disappointed.

She took to TikTok to explain, as she said: “They not comfortable.

“They sag and bag everywhere.”

But when she went to Primark to pick up a new pack, to avoid having to show her dirty undies on TikTok, she spotted the three-pack of Seamless Thongs and decided to give them a try.

“And I can confirm. Girls, these Primark thongs are 10/10 vibes,” she said.

She wasn’t able to get them in black, as they’re “super popular and always sold out”, but she managed to get a few packs of the white and nude ones.

“I’m not about to show you me wearing a thong, but I will tell you they hold it all in, they sit beautifully and they don’t irritate my bum crack.”

She added that she’s been “reaching for them more than I’ve been reaching for my granny pants”.

“So I feel like I’m more of like an 80/20 girl now,” she said.

“80% thongs, 20% granny’s.

“And I feel like I’m gonna upset the nation with that comment, but it is all about finding the comfy ones!”

Adele said she’s “glad” she let her friends convince her to try the thongs, as “it’s never too late”.

“I’m learning that my clothes are never really the problem,” she continued.

“And it was in fact the VPL from the granny pants that were giving me the ick!”

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.

They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
They “do very little advertising”
While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

Adele concluded by telling viewers: “If you wanna wear granny pants, girl, you do you.

“I just wanted to show you a comfy thong in case you did wanna try one!”

“My drawer is full of these. All I wear,” one person commented on the video.

“YES!” another added.

“Before you even showed them these are the ones I would have recommended!

“So comfy and really flattering!”

“These are my faves – the only thongs I wear,” a third agreed.

“The rest of the time it’s my granny pants!”

“I’ve been wearing these YEARS and they are the bestttt!” someone else insisted.
