Shoppers race to Primark to buy new £7 undie sets… and people are even wearing them as BIKINIS

IT’S always good to pack multi-use clothes when you go on holiday – particularly with the strict weight restrictions on luggage.

So fashion fans are sure to be racing to Primark for a new £7 underwear set that they reckon can also be worn as a barely-there bikini.

The bra doesn’t have any wires or padding, making it super comfytiktok/@primarknewcastle

And they’re so chic that people are even considering wearing them as bikinistiktok/@primarknewcastle

The store in Newcastle took to TikTok to share a look at the two-piece.

In the video, they showed the sets lined up in the shop – with the sets coming in royal blue, grey, beige and a mocha colour.

The bra is a triangle number in a ribbed material, with a shiny, thick waistband.

While the bottoms were a thong knicker, again made from ribbed material with a supportive, thick waistband.

“Made from soft ribbed stretch material that offers light support and featuring a high shine elastic underband and waistband complete for a secure feel, the sporty cut of this triangle bralette will have you feeling free to relax in style,” Primark writes of the set on their website.

“Seamlessly crafted, this underwear set sits almost invisible under any outfit and hosts fewer points of irritation than classic lingerie pieces and, thanks to its lack of underwires or padding, ensures you’re all day comfortable whether you’re out and about or lounging in luxury!”

People were quick to comment on the TikTok, with one writing: “Bikini?”

The Newcastle shop then replied: “Was in the underwear section but get them try on and see if it fits for bikini vibes!”

“Might have to get a blue one,” another added.

“BRO WE NEED,” a third commented.

“We have to go,” someone else said.

“I adore!” another gushed.

While someone else questioned: “Can someone let me know if everything stays in place when you move around?”

Not everyone was a fan of the set, however.

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.

They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
They “do very little advertising”
While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

“I have it but it’s really not it,” one wrote.

“The fabric doesn’t breathe and causes problems.”

Primark is famous for its discount underwear sets, although have faced calls from many fashion fans to sell the two-pieces separately due to being different sizes on the top and bottom.
