I still rock teeny shorts and busty tops at 55… brutal trolls say it’s giving ‘desperate’ but why the hell not?
A BLONDE beauty has hit back at trolls who reckon that her wearing tiny shorts and busty tops at 55 is ”desperate”.
Stunning mum-of-three, Sue, from Germany, took to TikTok to slam the bullies after getting ”hate” for her fashion sense.

According to the fashionista, who is no stranger to busty tops and mini frocks with a leggy display, she regularly receives nasty and rude comments.
As well as being told that her outfits are often ”desperate”, Sue’s been advised to change her wardrobe entirely, as trolls reckon she ”can’t dress like this” at 55.
But unfortunately for all the meanies, it seems that there is no stopping the stylish mum, who urges to ”never stop dressing up, no matter what age”.
”And no matter what other people may say!” she chuckled in a recent clip.
”It’s all about feeling confident, no matter what age!” Sue reminded everyone on her page.
”Why not?”
And it’s not just Sue and her pals that are out and about in trendy garments – her mum, too, jumped on the bandwagon, often posing in videos with her daughter.
Whilst Sue has earnt a fair share of criticism over her garments, the stunning entrepreneur has also become an inspiration for many who praise her positive attitude.
Some fans ever view Sue as their inspiration and an ”absolute icon”, with one person writing: ”If this is not me when I’m 55 please take me to jail.”
Another agreed, writing: ”New goal is to be like that in my fifty’s your fit goes harrrddd.”
”Keep doing them because you look FABULOUS,” a third begged Sue to not stop fit her fit checks on TikTok.
”This definitely me at 50,” another social media was mesmarised by her style.
Speaking of all things fashion – and shorts – Marks & Spencer have sent fans into a frenzy with their new denim shorts that are a perfect match ”if you’re curvy”.
How to look chic on a budget
Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger, and beauty journalist Samantha Silver revealed how you can make your outfits elevated without spending hundreds of pounds.
Don’t ever spend on designer denim: River Island ”always has such a great selection with fashion- forward jeans that follow the current trends”. The high street retailer offers a great range of sizes to fit UK 6 – UK 18, and three leg lengths – and prices start from an affordable £25.
There are no rules for jewels: ”Pick up something at a car boot sale, or charity shop, scroll on Vinted & eBay, snap up something from the clothing section in your local supermarket when doing the food shop or check out high street clothing stores.”
Don’t forget the pre-loved sites: With a rising number of second-hand sites, such as Vinted and Depop, there really is no excuse of not buying – or selling – pre-loved garments. Gemma, for instance, has managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunnies for a mere £17.
Priced at a purse-friendly £32.50, M&S’ Denim Pleat Front Belted Shorts are the summer essential you need this season – and we can see why shoppers are loving this staple.
Perfect with a basic vest top for a casual daytime look, or dressed up with a pair heels and a blouse for a more chic ensemble, these versatile shorts offer a number of styling options.
The design, which comes in light indigo, dark indigo and ecru, features a flattering paper bag shape, with a D-ring belt on the high waist.
Meanwhile, the subtle pleat detailing on the front adds a tailored touch, making them look more chic than they actually are.
”These look good with everything and are a useful addition to my summer wardrobe,” said one customer of the shorts which have been rated with more than four stars.
Another added: “Bought for a city trip. Love denim shorts as they are so versatile.
”These are slightly longer in length than my usual denim shorts, but perfect for day time city break or adding a jacket or smart top for evening.”
